Normally, I would go with a cronjob calling some scripts copying the www dir as well as calling mysqldump for WordPress backups. Since it’s just a webhosting package with some web guis for most of the stuff, I figured that doing a WordPress backup could be done by a native plugin as well – fully automated schedule, all data or explicitely the database, zipped and even emailed by this nifty plugin.

Rsyncing the zip files to a safe location is just the easy job then 🙂
